Our client is a leading international media company that develops high-quality news and content apps for a large audience.
Within their Technology & Product Studio, they build modern, high-performance mobile applications that deliver breaking news, in-depth journalism, video, audio, and interactive experiences to hundreds of thousands of users.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for:

  • Building new functionalities such as revamped live sports reporting, attractive podcast experiences, and interactive news formats
  • Translating newsroom needs into high-quality, maintainable mobile experiences
  • Creating pixel-perfect, accessible, and beautifully animated interfaces
  • Collaborating closely with Solution Owners, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and Data Analysts
  • Maintaining and modernizing the existing codebase

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Writing idiomatic, well-tested Swift code (SwiftUI, Combine, async/await)
  • Integrating with GraphQL and REST APIs for real-time news, comments, and multimedia content
  • Building reusable UI components and custom animations that match the brand identity
  • Debugging and optimizing across multiple iOS versions and device types
  • Actively participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Contributing to a healthy, scalable, and future-proof architecture (modularity, CI/CD, unit testing)

Job Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of professional iOS development experience
    • Strong proficiency in Swift 6 and Swift Strict Concurrency
    • Solid expertise in Protocol-Oriented Programming
    • Experience with SwiftUI, Combine, and modern iOS architecture patterns
    • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a strong plus
    • Familiarity with unit and UI testing frameworks (XCTest, Quick/Nimble) and CI tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise)
    • Affinity with machine learning workflows (taking models from notebook to production) is a plus
    • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
    • Strong eye for detail with a focus on performance, accessibility, and user experience
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with real-time features and live content
    • Background in news or media applications
