Our client is active in the financial/insurance world, and one of the leading companies in their field. We are looking for a freelance consultant for their corporate center.
The IT E2E Project Manager is responsible for managing all IT aspects of the Internal Model delivery project, including time, scope, budget, quality.
- Working closely with Program Manager, Development Lead, Enterprise Architect, E2E Solution Architect and Infra teams;
- Manage E2E delivery across multiple SaaS vendors, multi-vendor development teams, in-house development teams, multiple infrastructure, security and testing teams.
- Work with senior management stakeholders to ensure that all teams align to the overall strategy and planning
- Creating detailed delivery plannings for all IT components, from design through testing, roll-out in production, after care.
- Defining how the various phases will evolve, from MVP delivery through next phases in a multi-year plan.
- Bringing together all estimations for change and run phases, monitor during the course of the project.
- Work on a daily basis with team leaders and stakeholders to identify and resolve impediments and dependencies to the project
- Proactive reporting in a transparent way on the status of the IT project/program following the project management methodology of the Corporate Center.
- Identifying all IT Delivery & Run risks, making this clear towards the Program Management and the Stakeholders.
- Making sure that all requirements are taken into account, including non-functional requirements like performance, security (ISO/DORA), logging…
- Supporting and following-up the developmentteams throughout the implementation
- Ensuring coherent delivery with development teamsand infra teams.
- Self-starter
- Experience of at least 15 years in leading the delivery of end-to-end platforms, including web- batch- and other components.
- Experience in Insurance industry, with reasonable understanding of the processes and IT tools required to support Solvency II reporting
- Experience in leading IT projects in a Microsoft & Azure environment.
- Technical acumen (software development, web platforms, APIs, Azure etc.) to be able to understand & communicate well with technical people in the project.
- Ability to translate the technical challenges to business language, so that business Stakeholders can take decisions based on this.
- Able to anticipate problems and solve them with the relevant stakeholders.
- Experienced in project methodologies like PrinceII, but also Agile way of working.
- Affinity with Risk Actuarial topics like risk calculations is a plus, but not a must.
- Skilled in creating clear documentation, reports, and dashboards for various audiences.
