IT Project & Operations Manager - Freelance

Our client is active in the financial/insurance world, and one of the leading companies in their field. We are looking for a freelance consultant for their corporate center.

The position sits in a strategic Corporate Centre, supporting the headquarters of an international group.
As a result, the role requires someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and combining coordination with hands-on execution.

Key activities include:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables together with business stakeholders
• Lead and deliver IT and business-related projects across domains such as applications, infrastructure, security, and compliance
• Plan and coordinate project activities while monitoring scope, timelines, quality, and budget
• Perform functional and technical analysis in collaboration with business and IT teams
• Coordinate external vendors and support contracting processes together with Legal and Procurement
• Report on project progress to PMO and steering committees following the internal PMO methodology
• Contribute hands-on to analysis, documentation, and reporting activities
• Ensure security principles and ISO27K standards are respected during project delivery

In addition to project work, the role contributes to operational (run) activities such as IT risk management, incident and problem management, change management, and coordination of IT services delivered.
